Il 7 settembre 1919 a Palazzo Marino (Milano), Bruno Filippi muore dilaniato dallo scoppio di un ordigno esploso accidentalmente prima del tempo. Sua intenzione era farlo esplodere presso il ristorante Biffi, luogo di ritrovo della Milano bene.
