On May 14th 60 people who participated in the Mayday parade in Istanbul were arrested and their homes searched. They are accused of “damaging public property in the name of a terrorist organization”, because during the parade a couple of banks were damaged. Nine of them are still kept in prison. One of them (who identifies as LGBT -lesbian bisexual gay transgender) was the target of hate speech.

Cada cierto tiempo, cíclicamente, el anarquismo colectivo o social se vuelve limitativo para algunxs anarquistas y se reafirma cierto individualismo anarquista. Sucedió a finales del siglo XX cuando algunxs de lxs grandes pensadorxs anarquistas comenzaron a poner en duda algunos de los dogmas comunistas. Está pasando de nuevo y, una vez más, somos testigos del pánico de algunxs anarquistas sociales a medida que su sueño tranquilo se va viendo alterado y ellxs, conscientemente o no, refuerzan el dominio del Estado al condenar a sus hermanas y hermanos indisciplinadxs que parecen amenazar su búsqueda de lo que un compa bien ha definido como “anarquismo civil”.
Este anarquismo civil es una criatura horrible. Un monstruo viscoso, vil y despótico con ojos en la espalda que trata de ser lo que probablemente el anarquismo nunca será: apetecible para las modernas masas consumidoras.
