Earlier this year, Daniel McGowan and his support crew put out a call for post-prison support. (That’s right, Daniel will be in a halfway house by the end of the year.) One of the conditions for his release is employment. And the search is still on. With the international eco-anarchist holiday, June 11, around the corner, what better way to celebrate than to pitch in on support for one of the movement’s most outspoken ecoprisoners. In the midst of comments around the arson of two cars in Palermo on Tuesday May 22nd, we make it known that “los trapitos” or “cuida-coches” [these are names for poor people who offer to look after the cars of people who are, for example, dining in a restaurant – transl] had nothing to do with this since it was an action of “los quema-coches” [the car-burners] or “the heirs to the molotov” as the bourgeois press like to say in reference to “Friends of the Earth.”

An automobile can be burned to erase fingerprints after an illegal action, the fire starting inside it; our fire started under the motor…

The Palermo bourgeois who accuse the “trapito,” like the bourgeois of Caballito and Villa Urquiza, will soon have the actions of the lovers of freedom come for their trucks.

Palermo, Argentina: Quema de autos burgueses

En medio de comentarios acerca del incendio intencional de dos coches en Palermo el pasado martes 22 de mayo, hacemos saber que “los trapitos” o “cuida-coches” nada tienen que ver con este hecho ya que fue una acción de “los quema-coches” o “los herederos de molotov” como gusta decir la prensa burguesa al referirse a “Amigxs de la Tierra”.
Un automóvil puede ser incediado para borrar huellas luego de acto ilícito originándose el fuego dentro del mismo, nuestro fuego se origina debajo del motor…
El burgués de Palermo que acusa al “trapito”, como lxs burgueses de Caballito y Villa Urquiza ya vieron en sus camionetas las acciones de lxs amantes de la libertad.

Eric y Marie son dos presxs norteamericanxs que siguen en prisión tras la oleada represiva que se denominó Green Scare

En cualquier lugar en donde existe una lucha dinámica contra el estado y el capitalismo, hay algún grado de represión. El capitalismo sabe muy bien cómo proteger sus intereses, y ésto le lleva a apuntar y a erradicar a aquéllo que desafía su dominio. Aunque continuamos con nuestra lucha diaria contra este monstruo, también luchamos para asegurarnos de que nuestrxs amigxs y compañerxs que han sido apresadxs por el estado no sean olvidadxs; que sean tenidas en mente sus necesidades materiales y emocionales, y que permanezcan conectadxs con los movimientos de los que han sido arrancadxs por la fuerza.
