June 9: TWO police cars were damaged when revellers at a teenage birthday party in Armadale turned on police
Officers were called to Kyogle Place about 12.30am after reports of youths fighting and bottles being smashed at the party, which police said had been advertised on Facebook.
Fifteen police cars, mounted officers and the Regional Operation Group were called to disperse about 150 youths.
During that time, officers were pelted with bottles and rocks.
The windscreen of a police vehicle was smashed and a side panel damaged on another.
Three people were arrested. A 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man have been summonsed to appear in court on charges of disorderly behaviour. An 18-year-old man was charged with unlawful damage.
No police or revellers were injured.
Perth: 100 luxury cars vandalised
June 6: A WA public servant who damaged more than 100 expensive cars using paint stripper has avoided jail today.
Gilles Regis Gaudet, 46, of Morley, pleaded guilty earlier this year to 151 counts of criminal damage.
Gaudet vandalised more than 100 luxurious cars by using a syringe to spray paint stripper onto vehicles left in driveways and car parks. Continue reading →
